[Drama Recap] Producer: Episode 3
Sin Dong-yup amused the audience when he advised that one should not date women producers in the Entertainment Department.
The third episode of KBS 2TV's entertainment drama, "Producers" showed Baek Seung-chan (Kim Soo-hyeon-I), who appeared in the talk show, 'Hello Counselor', for his concern that he hated to go to work.
Show host Sin Dong-yup said, "What is special today is that our guest is the new hire producer in KBS entertainment department". Seung-chan said, "The reason I wanted to work for KBS entertainment department was because a noona I like works as a producer there. But after I was hired, I found out she was already dating someone".
Sin Dong-yup said, "Look for a woman somewhere else. Why do you want a woman producer, especially one from the Entertainment Department? They are tough" The remark was funnier because he got married to a producer from the Entertainment Department in his real life.
Seung-chan woke up from his dream when Ra Joon-mo (Cha Tae-hyeon) and Tak Ye-jin (Kong Hyo-jin) yelled at him from the audience, "I told you not to get spotted by me".
Baek Seung Chan (Kim Soo Hyun) steals Ra Joon Mo (Cha Tae Hyun) and Tak Ye Jin (Gong Hyo Jin)'s milk and spies on them behind the wall.
It is bumper to bumper all the way to work. Ye Jin recalls that she haven't gone cheery-blossom viewing with Joon Mo because he refused to go whenever she asked.
Ye Jin lets the rookie, who whites out typos on video tapes for recording, know the method to make completely blank tape using tape eraser. Seung Chan asks her to keep the secret and he is forced to be received the car repairs on the installment plan on his secret.
Ye Jin offers words of consolation to Shin Hye Joo (Jo Yoon Hee) who got the elbow, but it is hard for her not to smirk.
Seung Chan asks the female sunbae if she has a steady boyfriend to sound out what is in her mind and he is told off by her for asking something useless for work.
Ye Jin keeps giving Joon Mo a buzz. Tak Ye Joon (Kim Hee Chan) advises his older sister against answering in haste saying she needs to give a man time to think about what she is doing.
When Cindy joins a anti-club for her on the Internet to read malicious messages about the top star, she receives the text messages from Seoung Chan for returning the umbrella to the counter. She expected him to hit on her, but his response is quite different from her expectation.
Joon Mo is pressed by urgent business because EXID's Hani who was cast gets herself into trouble due to excessive drinking and violence. Seung Chan asks him what about Cindy (IU) for a regular guest and Joon Mo is sort of appalled by it because she is the hotshot for the program. Nobody expects him to cast Cindy.
Seung Chan gets call from Cindy on the way back to the office with Chinese pancake for Ye Jin and hurries out to see her. She is at a loss for words because of him not giving her even one saying they are already taken.
He tries to cast the star and the young signer asks him what she gets if she accepts the proposal. He does back up his opinion with examples of another top stars changed their public image successfully and she seems to be persuaded by the real man as naive as a child.
Byun Mi Sook (Na Young Hee) explains why Cindy cannot appear on the show making profit and loss. The novice makes the CEO piss off without malice and the artist laughs up her sleeve. Joon Mo dropped in without warning to take Seung Chan drives her nuts putting her to shame again. Cindy really gets interested in the producer who bought her gimbap as well as the rookie who doesn't look at her as a woman.
Cindy posts a question about the umbrella man on the message board.
Seung Chan who is dead drunk brings Ye Jin the pancakes and falls onto her shoulders.
