[Drama Recap] EXO Next Door: Episode 14

Gwang Su goes to EXO’s house and waits downstairs. He sees a coat rack and starts practicing martial arts on it. Yeon Hee yells out when she hears a sound. Gwang Su opens the door to the secret basement and finds Yeon Hee and Chanyeol.

Yeon Hee tells her mom that it was an accident and she was cold and scared. She asks them why they didn’t look for her. Chanyeol tells his EXO members that he happened to get stuck behind that wall and Yeon Hee happened to come in. The EXO members think that it doesn’t make sense that’s how they stayed the night together.

Chanyeol tells him that none of this would have happened if they looked for him. Baekhyun says he thought he was in his room and they were just being considerate.

Yeon Hee thinks that it’s possible for Chan to become EXO and appear in front of her after 16 years. He got so handsome and she couldn’t recognize him. They were such good friends when they were kids. Yeon Hee tells Gaeun that Chanyeol was her childhood friend. They can’t believe it and would have never imagined this could happen.

Yeon Hee goes to clean EXO’s house. She enters D.O.’s room and they have a chat. Yeon Hee tells him that Chanyeol and she are old friends. Gwang Su tells Sehun that the boy in the picture is Chanyeol and that he is friends with Yeon Hee.

Yeon Hee talks to D.O. about her close friendship with Chanyeol when they were kids. They were inseparable for about a year and promised to marry each other when they grew up. D.O. says that since she’s friends with Chanyeol, they should be friends too. She agrees.

Yeon Hee tells Chanyeol that his grandpa gave her the necklace because she cried every day after he left. Chanyeol asks her if she missed him. His grandpa told her that Chanyeol would come looking for the necklace if she had it.

Chanyeol asks Yeon Hee if she waited for him. She tells him to stop it. Chanyeol asks Yeon Hee for permission to hold onto the necklace until everything goes back to normal, because he really needs it right now. Cho Minhwan calls Yeon Hee. Chanyeol takes the phone from her and tells him that he’s Ji Yeon Hee’s boyfriend.

Chanyeol tells Yeon Hee that he is her first love, not Minhwan. He asks her to go on a date with him after work tomorrow. D.O. approaches them and receives a call that Suho is missing.
