[Drama Recap] My Unfortunate Boyfriend: Episode 12

Continuing to episode 11 of "My Unfortunate Boyfriend" where Ji Na met the Chairman on her way to work.Later they had a talk.The chairman explained to Ji Na about the past and how it is related to her until now. He told Ji Na that her father had been the inventor of  a light technology product which had been stolen by a competitor company. That company, who claimed the inventor themselves, approached the Chairman, asking him to promote it for them.

Although Tae Woon's father (or the Chairman's bother) had tried to convince the Chairman not to help the competitor company, the Chairman hadn't changed his mind. That was the reason why Ji Na's brother ended up losing all his money and had to moved back to his seaside town.

One day, Tae Woon's parents decided to paid Ji Na's family a visit, they had an accident in which his parents both died and Tae Woon was seriously injured.

Meanwhile at the office, Hee Chul called up Hye Mi to go to his room and asked her to stay by his side and be in his team.He left Ji Na's resume in front of her, as a proof for Hye Mi to beat up with Ji Na. Man, this guy is so pathetic.

Everybody knew about the Chairman's situation and Hye Mi's father had brought up the topic of choosing the new CEO for the company. He said there should be a competition between Hee Chul and the Chairman's nephew (aka Mr.Unfortunate). Hee Chul agreed with this and told Hye Mi's father that he was going to use Ji Na to distract Tae Woon in order to win.

Ji Na took her team to Tae Woon's place and let them know who "Dr.Seed" is. Of course they were all surprised but quickly made it over fast and began to have a picnic at Tae Woon's special place with beautiful flowers and magic decoration. Manager Oh wanted to make it clear about the relationship of Ji Na and  "Dr.Seed" (remember the time when she had been missing from the office to stay by "Dr.Seed"'s side??) so came up with the "truth" game. She asked Tae Woon when his first kiss was, he (blushed) said it had been 91 hours ago, then Manager Oh asked Ji Na when her last kiss was, Ji Na, who was afraid that they might discover the truth that she and Hee Chul kissed lately, denied to answer and chose to sing instead. So now everybody suspected of Ji Na and Tae Woon indeed were dating.

At the end of the day, Tae Woon invited Ji Na out for a walk . As they was strolling around, he saw a kite got stuck on a tree and tried to get it off. This led back to a memory in the past in which Tae Woon met a little girl when he was young, and that girl was Ji Na. Suddenly he slipped and their faces were getting close and he actively kissed her.

When Ji Na went back home, she received a text and several missed calls from Hee Chul but she decided to ignore all of them since her head was stuck with all the things the Chairman said and her relationship chaos with Tae Woon vs Hee Chul. She thought of her poor father and wanted to call to talk to him but she didn't had the courage to.

Hee Chul is now on his way to make his ambitious plan to take down Tae Woon come true, no matter what kind of means, including using Ji Na or Hye Mi.
