[Drama Recap] Ex-Girlfriend Club: Episode 7

Kim Soo Jin (Song Ji Hyo) cannot figure out the reason Jo Geon (Do Sang Woo) and Bang Myung Soo (Byun Yo Han) came to pick her up. Geon gets wind of what is going on and sees Jang Hwa Young (Lee Yoon Ji), Na Ji Ah (Jang Ji Eun), and Lara (Ryu Hwa Young) are hiding in plain sight. Soo Jin is so angry that she takes the taxi and leaves alone.

Myung Soo bluffs them not to have a lark with the friend and Soo Jin reproves his ex-girlfriends with a solemn face that she will have a romantic relationship with him if they look down upon her again.    

Hwa Young desires that the writer keeps out of the project, but the producer gives a good scolding for the bad manners. She puts on an act in front of her ex-boyfriend saying that she pities Soo Jin having to wait for another chance for a long time. 

The next day, the webtoon writer makes a formal apology to the director asking him back and he says that he will pull out of the project for everybody. The director accepts his offer. 

Soo Jin doubts that they were involved in some kind of a deal, but Myung Soo states he will also be busy because he needs to begin two webtoons to make her stop worrying about him.        

Myung Soo pays a visit to the film office to pick up the luggage and sees Geon sitting in his place. They strike sparks off each other over a trivial thing. 

As he trudges down the stairs, he meets Soo Jin and delivers her sneakers bought for the fake couple. Despite a lot of mixed emotions, he doesn't lose his sense of smile.

Soo Jin is busier and busier and Myung Soo waits for a text message. He feels very bitter about her having only time for a brief exchange because of a deluge of calls. 

Meanwhile, Soo Jin is screaming for joy with many actors and actress who want to have an audition thanks to the famous director.

Myung Soo is mortally offended by Soo Jin and Geon having late dinner in Ji Ah's restaurant. He pulls her up saying they remained friends three years ago because she was bound up in film making and he was waiting for her all the time pretending he was alright. Soo Jin watches him walking farther away.

     

Myung Soo leaves on a trip alone in spite of Ji Ah's attempts to go with him. Soo Jin hesitates to send a text message to him and he waits for her contact.
