[Drama Recap] The Girl Who Sees Smells: Episode 13

"Have you come for your wallet? Search the study and come upstairs. I will brew some coffee for you." Gwon Jae Hee (Nam Goong Min) gets in the elevator.

Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung) drops to the floor as if collapsing as soon as the elevator door closes. 

The murderer recommends a cup of coffee, but she hesitates to have it. The chef searches her face and trembling hands as if he wants to read her true thought. 

Just before drinking, the doorbell rings. Choi Mu Gak (Park Yoo Chun) lets her out without delay.

"Have you come to retrieve the hidden camera? Take your camera with you." Jae Hee says. "Cho Rim had stayed here for a second when I was upstairs for coffee. I hope that the camera doesn't related to her." he adds.

The killer grabs the detective by the collar saying that he will get him if he will come into the house again without without permission.

"Did I piss you off? You have killed my sister and pulled down my home. You will die soon." Mu Gak looks hard at him. "Do you wanna live? Then kill me!" he adds.

Cho Rim, who saw the same smells of the dead doctor around the chef in his house, unveils the secrets about her special ability to ask other detectives for help to find a way to come into the house again. The squad team starts to find how to cross the threshold without having the break the law.

Meanwhile, the serial killer struggles to figure out why Cho Rim gives the police her cooperation. He reads the diary of Choi Eun Sul's mother in the secret room behind the study and finds a close friend's name in her high school. 

The policemen who don't know his plan let her meet her high school friends to bring back her memory protecting the witness around the clock.

Mu Gak managed to get another opportunity to enter the house lawfully using safety inspection of the fire department scatters books on the shelf in the study to provoke to make the psyshopath react violent. But, he cannot find the secret room because he keeps his head. 

The couple have a nice time the day before the appointment. Cho Rim is upset about a lost hairpin from Mu Gak, but she cannot see the smell due to the rain. Mu Gak found the hairpin teases her pretending not to find the lost thing.

Detective Ki (Jo Hee Bong) and detective Yeh (Choi Tae Joon) keep a close watch on Jae Hee's house, but he never leave the house all night long. The brainy guy induces one of Choi Eun Sul's old friend to set a place where he can easily have a peek at who the witness is.

Yeum Mi (Yoon Jin seo) buys the girl a new jacket for the meeting. Cho Rim presents a special key chain with specially mixed perfume in it in exchange.

Mu Gak briefs detectives on Gwon Jae Hee's past, "He dropped out of Harvard Medical School after he failed a personality test. He was excellent at anesthesiology and he had a part time job at a sushi restaurant."
The detectives note the fact that the serial victims died from suffocation with the detailed barcode on their wrist.
"He could not control his urge to to murder. I'm sure that he became a chef to kill living thing not doing something illegal. There is a reason he kills a man on seventh day after he kidnaps. We have to find out what's happening during the six days." Mu Gak adds.

Cho Rim is accompanied by Mu Gak and Yeum Mi at the meeting. The male detective searches the other rooms in the restaurant, but he doesn't see a suspicious person. Yeom Mi checks that the chef still in the house from detective Ki. But the clever guy disguised himself as an old man with spectacles and wig eats with same age group in the next door and he listens to a girls' conversation. The old man's hands are shaking as he notices that Oh Cho Rim is Choi Eun Sul.  

While Mu Gak follows the homeless people looks suspicious, Jae Hee kidnaps the girl heading to a parking lot alone. 

The murderer takes her home through a secret path to his house. After he lays the girl on the bed in the white room, he peacefully does double the recipe checking monitor screen she wakes up or not.    

"What can I call you? Oho Cho Rim? Or Choi Eun Sul?" he says playfully.

She responses, "Call me detective Yeom Mi!" 

He looks back at her in surprise. 

Actually Yeom Mi dressed alike with Cho Rim lured the murderer into a trap catching up the girl going down the stairs. She was sure that Jae Hee couldn't recognize her face because of the face blindness.   

Mu Gak broke the door open abruptly socks Jae Hee in the face.  

"Where is Yeom Mi? Where is she?" he bawls at the murderer furiously pointing a gun at his head.

However, he smiles mischievously as if he sneers at him.
