"Choi Eun Sul! Don't I know you?" Gwon Jae Hee (Nam Goong Min) looks Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung) dead straight in the eyes.
"Haven't you ever seen me, have you?" his fingers closed around her head.
Cho Rim covers her mouths with her hands making her identity have to
remain as unnoticed as possible. She notices Choi Mu Gak (Park Yoo Chun)
has arrived on the scene because of his smell. The witness takes
advantage of blackout for a moment and escapes from the terrible
murderer.
After the light goes on, the chef comes out the door to follow the
run-away girl but he is knocks cold by the detective when hit from
behind with the pistol butt. The serial victim's brother aims the gun at
the man in a swoon.
"Don't shoot him, don't shoot. Please! You will be only another
murderer." Cho Rim detain him by the sleeve. Mu Gak seems to experiences
mixed feeling of grief and anger.
Cho Rim walked into the house again to find her father faints because of
shock and Mu Gak transfers her to a hospital. The timely arrival of
Detective Ki (Jo Hee Bong) and Detective Yeh (Choi Tae Joon) press hard
upon the prime suspect just woken where Oh Jae Pyo (Jeong In Ki) is.
The chef stops them entering the house, "He falls asleep because of wine
drank with me. I will take him out." Cho Rim's father comes down from
stairs when Gwon Jae Hee hides a disposable syringe.
The serial killer follows the former detective along without his seeing the chef into his house.
"Did he try to kill me? He called me Choi Eun Sul. Gwon Jae Hee has face
blindness and he didn't recognize my face because I didn't make any
sound. I already know my real name is Choi Eun Sul and I am the witness
of the barcode murder. I am so so sorry about your sister died because
of me." she sheds tears.
"It's not your fault." he comforts her.
Yeum Mi (Yoon Jin seo) asks Jae Pyo to live apart with his daughter for a
while. The witness arrived at home is shocked at the rooms in a mess.
Cho Rim notices that her photo has disappeared and Mu Gak takes her his
home for her safe.
Jae Hee is filled with fury as he doesn't recognize the face on the
picture. He marks his own symbol down on the reverse side of it.
There are still no new development in the murder due to the criminal's
holeproof alibi. Cho Rim offers detectives to take the photo back for
herself saying she is the only person without triggering any suspicion
from the chef. On the day of recording Golden Recipe at his house, she
puts up a hidden camera in his study. Cho Rim comes close to incur
suspicion but she saves her neck pretending she went down the library to
change a pair of pantyhose. She drops her purese on purpose to make a
chance to enter the house for retrieving the camera.
Mu Gak asks, "I'd like to go back to Jeju-do as an aqualist when I complete my tasks. Will you go with me?"
"Please take me when you visit your sister. I'd like to say that I'm
really sorry." she sheds big drops of tears. Mu Gak holds her tight in
his arms.
Cho Rim switches the photo inside Jae Hee's wallet while the chef is
busy cooking before he goes to meet a private detective agent to find
the wintness. Jae Hee hands his house key to Cho Rim without doubt and
Cho Rim heads to the house to retrieve the camera without knowing that
she left his phone behind in the restaurant.
Meanwhile, Jae Hee gets the phone from the private agent about many
detectives around the appointment place. He takes the picture out of the
wallet. He has no sooner the car turn around than he checks there is no
mark on the back. Jae Hee arrived at home before Cho Rim looks
everywhere in the study. Mu Gak in a surveillance car around the house
is shocked at him unexpectedly appearing on a monitor. He tries to call
the girl friend in danger but she never answers.
"What? What are you so curious about?" Jae Hee finally detects the
hidden camera. Mu Gak hurries on to the murderer's house to save Cho Rim
descending into the study after she took her purse in the bathroom.
When the elevator door is open, he makes a creepily smiled at the girl who stands agape with surprise.
