The first episode begins Soo Jin (played by Song Ji Hyo) asked one of the gisaengs in the filming scene which she is attending to, to work with her in a new film project.
Soo Jin is a film producer who works in a poor production company (due to lack of funds??) with one boss and another coworker Song Eun Hye (played by Kang Soo Jin). Although she was successfully invites the top actress for their project, her boss doesn't seem content at all. He wants her to focus on the company's webtoon romance drama project.
While Soo Jin has no interest in those webtoon trends, her coworker Eun Hye is very fond of it because the webtoon reflects the depressing dating situation nowadays. Eun Hye blames Soo Jin's ignorance due to her dull love life.
Soo Jin later attends to a reunion party at a bar where she meets Shim Joo Hee (Ji So Hyun), a friend in the outside but real enemy in the inside, shamelessly undermining Soo Jin's new film project. She also let Soo Jin know that she's seeing Soo Jin's ex boyfriend Bang Myung Soo (played by Byun Yo Han) and intentionally makes Soo Jin to pay for the bill that night.
After hearing about Myung Soo, Soo Jin suddenly remembers about her past relationship with Myung Soo, about how they met and date each other.
Later Soo Jin discovers that Myung Soo is the writer of that famous webtoon everybody is talking about. Her brother-in-law also hints that Soo Jin may appear in that webtoon, since it is about past relationships of Myung Soo with his ex-girlfriends.
She asks to join the meeting with Myung Soo the day after. She wants to impress her ex, so she is about to apply the lipstick then Myung Soo suddenly arrives early which made Soo Jin smears the lipstick across her face :D.
Myung Soo greets Soo Jin with some compliments on her career, Soo Jin notices that he's no longer go clubbing and has not married yet. Myung Soo mentions one of the best moments of them being together, Soo Jin is moved by that too, but ends up disappointing that he doesn't have her number on his phone. Finally, it is revealed that Soo Jin is actually Myung Soo's business meet-up contact but Soo Jin has lost her interest in him after all.
Next day, she and her coworker, Eun Hye, find out that the boss on her company took all the money and now they're in debt. Since she cannot reach him on the phone, they decide to go to his house. The boss begs them on his knees that is because he needs money for his sick son.
Later Soo Jin also has another problem with Ji Hee, who puts a step forward to get the writer for her film project instead of Soo Jin.
All the bad things have happened to Soo Jin seem not enough until Myung Soo decides to meet her to cancel the contract. Soo jin bursts into tears, this is all she can take.
Myung Soo doesn't know how to comfort her so he stays silent and decides to go on with the contract.
Next day at work, Soo Jin suddenly has to encounter four of Myung Soo's ex-girlfriends. He was drunk last night and his carelessness brings her troubles.
