[Drama Recap] Mask: Episode 9

Choi Min Woo (Ju Ji Hoon) takes Byun Ji Sook (Soo Ae) out of the police station and gives his car key to her to let her go alone. The sister sees loan sharks waiting for her brother to come out when she approaches Kim Jung Tae (Jo Han Sun)' house and overhears that they will kill Byun Ji Hyuk (Hoya). 

Ji Hyuk who doesn't even know Jung Tae has already died hesitates what he should do looking at a family picture of him and he sneaks out of the house without sticking a needle.

Ji Sook shouts to her brother to run away from the private moneylenders when they are about to force him into a car. The brother and sister reached safety hug each other with tears in their eyes. Ji Sook got to know he came near committing homicide for their sick mother gives him money as much as she can take out from the ATM machine.   

"Do you believe in your wife?" Choi Mi Yeon (Yoo In Young) asks.

"I believe in Seo Eun Ha because I saw my image reflected in her eye. It couldn't be seen if she averted my eyes. Have you seen your image in your husband eye?" Min Woo asks back.

Mi Yeon feels sadness looking at Seok Hoon averting her eyes saying "I love you, too."

As Ji Sook asks Seok Hoon to let her perfectly live the dead woman's life for medical bills and debts, he says her brother will be safe if she makes her husband step down as the director of the headquarters. He threatens the woman showing a disposable syringe which her brother left his fingerprints on.

Ji Sook is very grateful because Min Woo brings her to seolleongtang (stock soup of bone and stew meat) restaurant and a quite place to relax. She bumps into the loan shark who shadowed the couple and he makes a direct demand her for 300 million won for keeping her secret. As Ji Sook asks Min Woo for help, the bad guy has Min Woo be taken to the police office on bribery charges from the dead man just before he gives the money to his wife.  

Min Woo sorrowfully confesses that he nearly killed the woman whom he believes has suffered from amnesia after the accident and Ji Sook recalls the dead body of Seo Eun Ha in the hospital.          

Ji Sook saves Min Woo from the water and he finds himself in hospital when wakes up. He feels the glow of happiness thanks to rice porridge which his wife cooked for him.  

Seok Hoon insists that the man showed symptoms of mental instability must be sent to a madhouse and offers Ji Sook a sweeter deal giving her big money and a bulky book. She sneaks into the husband's secret room with the book and opens it and finds a fake evidence before she leaves there and she wises up to a plot which will entangle her husband in. Unfortunately she is caught by Min Woo while staying in the forbidden place to anybody except himself.
