[Drama Recap] Mask: Episode 10

Byun Ji Sook (Soo Ae) manages to get out of trouble for a time being with an implausible story that is hard for Choi Min Woo (Ju Ji Hoon) to believe. He ascertains the fact about the open door from a maid who is already bribed to give false testimony and drugged his drink every day to make him become mentally deranged.

He has doubts about the truth of their remarks and goes to check the office safe where he placed the spare key for the secret room. He puts blame on himself for the key in place and offers an apology to his wife about not only the secret room but also the accident in the swimming pool.
Min Woo breaks a lamp because of a horrible nightmare and the family doctor insists that he should be in a mental hospital due to the serious deranged behavior.

Min Woo picks up a long hair from the office floor and hears Seo Eun Ha (Soo Ae) alone in the office the day before. The man holds a framed wedding picture from the safe to the light and he finds a fingerprint on it. Min Woo orders to request to have it identified.
Ji Sook who hears rumor that her husband will lose his position soon implores Choi Mi Yeon (Yoo In Young) to help her half-brother but she rejects the request flatly.
As the rumor spreads, Ji Sook takes Min Woo to the fancy restaurant where they went to before to give comfort to him and he is touched by her solicitude for him.

The prosecution combs all over the palatial residence with a seizure and search warrant to find the evidence that Min Woo is involved in the bribery case. Ji Sook tears the documents without anyone knowing. The prosecutor forces Min Woo to open the door and finds a plastic bag filled with white powder in the slipcase of the bulky book. As it turns out powdered sleeping pills, he is pushed into a corner and his sister begins to get suspicious about what her husband did.

Byun Ji Hyuk (Hoya) gives his parents money and a fake life insurance policy of his sister. Not being able to contain her sorrow, the mother wails aloud.
Ji Sook steals into the house of Kim Jung Tae (Jo Han Sun) with the electronic key card from her brother and silently surveys the scene and asks about Min Seok Hoon (Yeon Jung Hoon)'s future plans after she came home.

The chairman of the company starts to doubt the son-in-law and Min Woo gives Seok Hoon the fountain pen back saying he picked it up.

Ji Sook holds her head up in front of the loan shark who goes on threatening to reveal the secret and tells his husband's sister, who has changed her mind to help her, that she doesn't need to be helped any longer.

She happens to see the family doctor and Seok Hoon exchanging warm greetings and doesn't let her husband take the pill before his resignation is handled in the upcoming board of directors meeting.
Min Woo receives the result but doesn't use it to speak for himself. Before nobody can prevent her, Ji Sook opens the door and enters the meeting room and introduces herself.
