[Drama Recap] Mask: Episode 5

An ambulance heading to a hospital hits Byun Ji Hyuk (Hoya) searching for Kang Ok Soon (Yang Mi-kyung) near the accident and Byun Ji Sook (Soo Ae) in the ambulance turns her head not to be discovered by her brother. Ji Hyuk is on the point of opening the door when Byun Dae Sung (Jung Dong Hwan) tells him his wife remains unharmed and they makes a path for the hospital.

When Min Seok Hoon (Yeon Jung Hoon) wakes up, he finds himself in a hospital. He tries to hurry out to see mayor, but Choi Mi Yeon (Yoo In Young) does not let him go and runs the husband to earth why he was slapped in the face and followed her brother's wife. Seok Hoon seeks a divorce saying they are an ill-matched couple and Mi Yeon can't let go of him.    

Choi Min Woo (Ju Ji Hoon) came back home too late disappoints his father because he failed to make an contract with the mayor for smart shopping center. Seok Hoon leaks minutes about the construction to make merchant protest, threatens the mayor with corruption of his close relatives, and makes a plan to send Min Woo to jail by enticing him into lobbying the politician. 

Min Woo tries to calm down merchants demonstrating against the construction of the mega shopping mall which will potentially hurt small-time markets. 

His stepmother had done a background check on Seo Eun Ha (Soo Ae)' nanny requests gene test in secret.  

Ok Soon woke up in the hospital tells her families she saw Ji Sook in the mountain and Ji Hyuk is so hard on himself for medical bills. The son asks an information of the mountain climber who saved his mother's life to a worker in the reservation desk and he recognizes the writing of Seo Eun Ha is quite similar to his sister's. He recall the woman's face in the ambulance and stood near his house. 

Min Woo and Ji Sook goes to the traditional marketplace to survey a situation. They see a group of men breaking down the market and the couple driven into a corner by the opponent's attack disappoints the chairman again. Ji Sook advises her husband to follow what his heart really wants. 

Min Woo recalls her sad face looking at the poor people and Ji Sook remembers the moment of her husband protected her with his body. Min Woo looks at antiseptic ointment on the desk and approaches to the sofa where his wife sleeping. He carries her limp body and lays her on the bed.

Before he goes to bed, Min Woo begins to put a roll of paper money in an apple box, but he stops putting and takes a bite out of an apple.

On the foundation day, Ji Sook feels shy to be seen in public, but Min Woo is lost in admiration of the beauty in white.  

The chairman announces that the company has entered into the arrangement for the construction of the shopping center and introduces his son as new director of the headquarters. Seok Hoon pulls his faces because he can't figure out why the plan has been thwarted. In fact, Min Woo succeeded in the dealing with an idea of sharing the first floor of the shopping mall with the merchants and their products thanks to the mayor decided not to hide the wrong. Ji Sook gives a very big hand to him.

While dancing waltz, Ji Hyuk calls her elder sister and Ji Sook opens her eyes wide with surprise.
