[Drama Recap] EXO Next Door : Episode 1

It’s a new webdrama! Yay! I don’t usually watch webdramas – the first was After School Bokbulbok which was hilarious, and the most recent was Dream Knights which I watched but dropped because I was cringing too much from the acting.
I was excited for this, mainly because I’m a fan – but don’t get me wrong, my review will not be bias, just because I’m a fan.
I won’t be exactly doing full recaps – it depends on whatever I feel like at the moment.

EPISODE ONE

We started off with Chanyeol, D.O, Baekhyun and Sehun, suspiciously moving into their new neighborhood.

Yeon Hee feels embarrass trying to buy sanitary pads. Her face turns red as she hurries the cashier to quickly complete the transaction. The cashier however, took his own sweet time, and told her that there is a sale at the moment if she buys two. Irritated, she blurted out that it’s her last day. Her face turns bright red and she runs off.

While walking home, she noticed that there are people behind her. She assumes they are following her and hearing their conversation, she thinks they murdered someone. She hasten her pace, only to slip and fall, sending her sanitary pad flying.

It landed in front of Chanyeol, who picked it up.


Yeon Hee continue playing dead, thinking that they will be coming for her and that it’s her last day living. They asked if she is okay, she quickly opened her eyes, stood up and ran off.

And they just wonder what just happened.

Yeon Hee’s mom told her that new good-looking neighbors have moved in, and to pass them a card. She tells Yeon Hee that first impression is important and she shouldn’t be wearing what she is currently wearing.

Yeon Hee tries different outfits and speech – 
And is shocked when her neighbors turned out to look, less attractive than she imagined.
Yeon Hee’s mom tells her to pass rice cakes to the neighbors, or else she would charge her daughter for rent.

She enters the neighbors house and calls out but no one answers. Tempted by the smell of the rice cake, she eats a piece. She almost choked on the rice cake, so she opened the fridge to get water…
And the members walked in, Chanyeol asking, who is she. 
Shocked at who her neighbors really are, she spit on Chanyeol. 
THAT’S ALL.
