While Wal (Moon Ga-yeong) was keeping Seok-joo (Lee Deok-hwa)'s promissory note, Min Gyeom-ho (Im Ho) told So-gae to capture her then the director position would be his. The director position was So-gae's long-cherished desire.
When So-gae finally found Wal, he threatened her to give the note to him. However, Wal went into the chilly water of the valley and asked Manchi for help. She was saved by Manchi and his assistants luckily. However, a group of forest pirates showed up right after and attacked all of them at the spot
When the pirates found the note from inside Wal's jacket, they said they didn't feel good about the paper and burnt it. Seok-ju's entire asset turned into ash in a second.
But, all of this was planned by Bong-sam. Bong-sam hired the forest pirates and sent them to the spot. The note was passed over to Bong-sam safely.
