[Drama Recap Summary] Save the Family: Episode 1-20

Jung Woo Jin (played by Jae Hee) is doctor with bright future at an university hospitalbut everything begins to fall apart when his girlfriend Ko Ye Won tells him that she is engaged to another man. He resigns from the hospital and breaks up with his girlfriend.

Lee Hae Soo is a hardworking and kind person who lives with a group of younger kids She dreams of opening up a restaurant on her own one day.

Lee Hae Soo meets depressed and drunken Woo Jin on the street. Thinking he is a poor and homeless guy, she brings him to her home.

The next morning Woo Jin wakes up in front of the whole Hae Soo's family are staring at him. Instead of  being thankful for what Hae Soo did, he accused her for the loss of his wallet.

Woo Jin then mistakes Hae Soo for owning a group of thieves when she returns his empty wallet to him. Hae Soo is so angry that they have a fight at the hospital's lobby. She is fired from her job at the hospital for this but owing to Woo Jin's friend for standing on her side, she has the job again.

Woo Jin's attitude towards Hae Soo has changed day by day when he knows how much she loves her family and how he has mistaken her. As for Hae Soo's side, she begins to hold her temper, at least in fornt of Woo Jin.

Bad news for Hae Soo is that the cafeteria that she has worked is loosing their contract with the hospital because they decide to choose another company that serves instant factory-prepared foods. The food company is Ye Won's (Woo Jin's ex girlfriend), it's called Ones.

Hae Soo wants to fight back in order to rescue the situation.A competition between cooks from both sides. The one loses will have to leave.

Hae Soo fails against strong power of Ye Won. Won Jin disgusts his ex's behavior.

Ye Won is stil in love with Won Jin but her mother warns Woo Jin to stay away from her daughter or he can't be a doctor anymore.
The press is curious know more about Woo Jin's life as he is Ye Won's secret man. They wait outside the hospital to interview him. Suddenly Hae Soo steps in and declares herself to be Woo Jin's girlfriend. Woo Jin agrees with what Hae Soo says and walks proudly away with her.

Woo jin and Hae Soo continue their misunderstandings to the point that Woo Jin then decides to get back to Ye Won which, leaving Hae Soo a broken heart.

Then Hae Soo melts when she hears that Woo Jin is the one that asked her not to fire all the cafeteria employees when Hae Soo lost to Ye Won.

Hae Soo decides to talk out the misunderstanding with Woo Jin and the problems between then are relieved.
