[Drama Recap] I Have A Lover: Episode 1-12

Story and Casts Summary:

Do Hae Gang. A talented lawyer, Hae Gang's married to Jin Eon. Jin Eon is developing an affair with one of his graduate assistant, Seol Ri.

Dok Go Yong Gi: Hae Gang's lost twin sister. Hae Gang is rescued by Baek Seok in an accident, she's alive but has amnesia of her past. Baek Seok mistakes her for his first love, Dok Go Yong Gi. With a new destiny, Hae Gang is now Baek Seok's partner, she is now is warm and motherly as she takes care of Baek Seok's siblings.

Episode 1-3:  Jin Eon (Hae Gang’s husband) enjoys his time at the beach with his lover, Seol Ri.

Baek Seok is finally opening his lawyer firm..Baek Seok drives on a quiet road and starts seeing Hae Gang whom he thinks of to be an actual ghost. She asks him for help because she was hurt but doesn’t remember her name or where she lives. The man seems to actually know Yong Gi and mistakes Hae Gang as being Yong Gi.

Hae Gang asks her husband if he wants to go on a trip but he refuses. After that Jin Eon takes out a divorce request paper.

Hae Gang goes to her husband’s university where she witnesses her husband giving an umbrella and new shoes to Seol Ri, a grad student.

Hae Gang tries to calm herself down in her car but Baek Seok appears and makes funny faces in her car’s mirror without knowing that there is someone in the car.

Baek Seok and Seol Ri seem to know each other.She's one of his siblings.

In the CCTV room Hae Gang sees her husband and Seol Ri kissing.

Hae Gang tries to rescue her marriage by advising Jin Eon and threatening Seol Ri but everything she does just seems to push Jin Eon closer to Seol Ri. Seol Ri doesn't care about moral reasoning and joyfully takes part in a romance with Jin Eon.

Episode 4: Choi Jin-eon (Ji Jin-hee) asked Do Hae-kang (Kim Hyeon-joo) for a divorce. Jin-eon confessed that he was attracted to Kang Sully (Park Han-byeol) who appealed to him and lied to his wife to spend time with her. Jin-eon told Sully how he felt about her and prepared for divorce. Hae-kang became sensitive after seeing and hearing everything and met Jin-eon who told her that he was serious about Sully. Hae-kang asked for 4 months and to see what happens in the end. It seemed like the end for the married couple. Hae-kang's twin sister Dok-go Yong-gi (Kim Hyeon-joo) also had a crisis. She was suspicious about the death of her fiancé and struggled to find out the truth with a show producer. She had to know the truth even if that put her in danger. Min Tae-seok (Kong Hyeong-jin) was watching everything. He sent people to take videos of Yong-gi and the producer meeting up and found out who she was. A mysterious man appeared and threatened Yong-gi.

Episode 5: Do Hae-kang (Kim Hyeon-joo) asked her mother-in-law, Hong Se-hee (Nah Yeong-hee) for help. On this day, Do Hae-kang opened up, "Jin-eon (Ji Jin-hee) is having affiars". Hong Se-hee responded, "My Jin-eon would do such thing". Do Hae-kang continued on, "She is a master degree student working in the same research center. I met her and confirmed it. Please help me. I tried to solve it by myself no matter what. But it didn't work". She added, "If school gets to know about this, he may lose the opportunity for professor position". Hong Se-hee finally said, "Monitor your husband well. If there'd happen to be a baby, then it's the end of your life. This is not a time for you to act that classy".

Episode 7: Choi Jin-eon (Ji Jin-hee) and Kang Seol-ri (Park Han-byeol) spent a night together. On this day, Choi Jin-eon took Kang Seol-ri to a bed & breakfast because she didn't have a place to stay. It was because Do Hae-kang (Kim Hyeon-joo) sneaked into Kang Seol-ris house and flooded the place earlier. Choi Jin-eon and Kang Seol-ri ended up spending the night together after all. Kang Seol-ri in Choi Jin-eon's arms said, 'I'm scared I might lose you. And I might ruin your life. Please tell me it is love with you too".

Episode 10: 
Do Hae-kang (Kim Hyeon-joo) starting a new life 4 years later. Everyone around her thought she was dead. However, Hae-kang was helped by Baek Seok (Lee Kyoo-han) to start over. Her coldness had gone and now she was running here and there for the less fortunate but every night she dreamt of her dead daughter and husband Jin-eon (Ji Jin-hee). Baek-seok comforted her and showed her his undying love. Jin-eon returned from his studying overseas. Seol-ri (Park Han-byeol) wasn't back yet. Hae-kang and Jin-eon almost ran into each other in the streets of Hongdae but with great difficulty. As they were about to run into each other, her rebellious sister Baek-ji (Seo Ji-hee) stole Jin-eon's wallet. Eventually, Hae-kang ran into Jin-eon while riding around in her scooter. Jin-eon's snowball rolled to Hae-kang's feet and she was lost in thought at the music she could hear, which seemed familiar. The music was what her daughter used to like. Hae-kang and Jin-eon were surprised when they faced each other.

Hae Gang signs the divorce paper but still hopes to gain a second chance for her marriage a few years later because they in fact still love each other.

Hae Gang's car is stolen by her twin sister: Yong Gi and Hae Gang (who is driving in Yong Gi's car) gets pushed into a lake.Tae Seok finds out that his minion had actually killed Hae Gang instead of Yong Gi. Yong Gi successfully escaped by leaving to China. Tae Seok reveals everything to President Choi in order to beg him to cover up the whole thing.


Episode 12:
Do Hae-gang (Kim Hyeon-joo), who lost her memory, met Jin-eon (Ji Jin-hee) and Seol-li (Park Han-byeol) again. On this episode, Seol-li came back from U.S. and paid a pre-marital courteous visit to Jin-eon's house. However, Jin-eon's father Choi Manho and Jin-ri (Baek Ji-won) did not accept Seol-li as a family member. To make things worse, Seol-li saw Jin-eon asking Min Tae-seok (Kong Hyeong-jin) about Do Hae-gang's whereabouts. This made Seol-li utterly upset and she told Jin-eon, "I feel like I'm living with her. Where ever we go, there's always one thing about her" and "You still cannot forget her. Then why did you get divorced even. Can't you please love me? I'm going to wait until you propose to me". However, Jin-eon and Hae-gang's relationship had already started again. The two faced each other because Hae-gang's sister had stolen Jin-eon's wallet. Seol-li, who could not trust Jin-eon, was watching them from a distance. Seol-li was shocked with what she saw. Seol-li after all went to see Baek Seok (Lee Kyoo-han)'s office to clarify. He asked Seol-li, "Are you sure she lost her memory. It's possible she might not be Dok-go Yong-gi". Hae-gang answered as much as she knew honestly. Seol-li invited Baek Seok, Do Hae-gang and Jin-eon to her house on a malicious intention. When Do Hae-gang encountered Jin-eon later on the street, Do Hae-gang returned the money her sister had stolen from Jin-eon and apologized to him. As Jin-eon turned around after he got the money from her, Do Hae-gang's cellphone rang. Jin-eon heard the phone ringing and he all of sudden grabbed Hae-gang's hand because a strong old memory came to his mind.
