The two met in the KBS 2TV drama "Blood" and have been seeing each other since then. Apparently, even while they were filming the drama, they didn't hide their feelings for each other so everyone on set knew they were more than just friends.
Word got out that they were seeing each other last month and they openly admitted to seeing each other. There were also rumors that they were planning on getting married despite their young age.
On the morning of the 8th, the two announced that they were getting married. Ahn Jae-hyeon's agency S-Team announced that he was getting married to Koo Hye-seon on the 21st of May. Their wedding is going to be held small with just family so the time and place of the wedding won't be announced. The cost of the wedding is going to be donated to the pediatrics ward.
Koo Hye-seon's agency YG Entertainment also announced that Koo Hye-seon will be getting married this May and that the couple will be using the cost of the wedding to donate to the pediatrics ward.
The couple also posted on the bulletin boards, "Hello, this is Ahn Jae-hyeon and Koo Hye-seon. We plan on taking the eternal road of love on the 21st of May. We are slowly learning what it's like to live for someone else. We respect each others' values and so we have decided to make our wedding ceremony a special one too. Thank you for all the support".
Koo Hye-seon claims she wanted to become family to Ahn Jae-hyeon and Ahn Jae-hyeon said they'd been planning to get married for a long time. About the donations, Koo Hye-seon said, Ahn Jae-hyeon agreed to it when she suggested it.
Koo Hye-seon and Ahn Jae-hyeon are keeping their wedding minimal with just a dinner with their parents. They are also going to stop by the Severance Hospital in Sinchon, Seoul and donate what they saved for the wedding.
