Kang Chan-bin (Yoon Hyeon-min) recognized Geum Sa-wol (Baek Jin-hee) on the eighteenth episode of the MBC weekend drama, "My Daughter, Geum Sa-Wol". He recognized her as his first love.
Kang Chan-bin and Geum Sa-wol were in his car, sheltering from the rain.
Kang Chan-bin was afraid of the chick that Geum Sa-wol was holding onto and Geum Sa-wol said, "This chick is what saved me" and told him of the accident when she was 8-years-old.
When Kang Chan-bin realized she was from the Geum Bit Orphanage, he said, "Did you treat birds and build them nests?" Geum Sa-wol said that was her and he said, "You were alive all this time? The chick, too?"
