Captain Choi’s minion, Woo-sung (Hye-sung’s brother) finds a woman covered in
metal rods. Ji-na decides to ride in the ambulance with the
woman. Woo-sung offers to clean up the scene and encounters Hye-sung . Woo-sung gives him the cold shoulder blaming him for their parents' incidents to his brother. Hye-sung hits his brother in the face and walks away.
Woo-jin seems to be the only doctor available to treat the
patients, but he suggests to transfer the patients to other hospitals with the right resources.
Ji-na confronts him him and calls him a coward.
Ji-na and Ddol-mi are forced to look for another
hospital. Hye-sung receives a call from
Ddol-mi about their patient being rejected from all the nearby
hospitals. He orders her to bring the patient to Han River Mirae
Hospital where he is treating the patient.
Chief Kang turns on the TV and sees the news of the
accident. She receives a call from
the hospital asking her for help. Chief Kang arrives at the hospital and asks the intern why there aren’t more patients in the hospital,
and he explains that Woo-jin rejects emergency surgery.
Hye-sung and his team successfully save the patients. Hye-sung’s being interviewed by reporters. Director
Lee, Woo-jin, and the Mirae ER watch the interview with Hye-sung saying that the patients were rejected from Mirae Hospital because the
doctors think of their medical career other than the patient’s life.
The president wants Director Lee to take Hye-sung to his position to build a better hospital.
Hye-sung and Ddol-mi go outside to observe the bright and colorful sky today.
Suddenly, the ground and everything start shaking and cracking. The
buildings start to fall. Hye-sung immediately grabs Ddol-mi before the earthquake destroys everything.
