[Drama Recap] D-Day: Episode 2

In episode 2, Hye-sung pulls Ji-na away from the crash, the place fills with injured people.Hye-sung approaches Ddol-mi and start treating patients.

Captain Choi’s minion, Woo-sung (Hye-sung’s brother) finds a woman covered in metal rods. Ji-na decides to ride in the ambulance with the woman. Woo-sung offers to clean up the scene and encounters Hye-sung . Woo-sung gives him the cold shoulder blaming him for their parents' incidents to his brother. Hye-sung hits his brother in the face and walks away.

Woo-jin seems to be the only doctor available to treat the patients, but he suggests to transfer the patients to other hospitals with the right resources. Ji-na confronts him him and calls him a coward.

Ji-na and Ddol-mi are forced to look for another hospital. Hye-sung receives a call from Ddol-mi about their patient being rejected from all the nearby hospitals. He orders her to bring the patient to Han River Mirae Hospital where he is treating the patient.

Chief Kang turns on the TV and sees the news of the accident. She receives a call from the hospital asking her for help. Chief Kang arrives at the hospital and asks the intern why there aren’t more patients in the hospital, and he explains that Woo-jin rejects emergency surgery.

Hye-sung and his team successfully save the patients. Hye-sung’s being interviewed by reporters. Director Lee, Woo-jin, and the Mirae ER watch the interview with Hye-sung saying that the patients were rejected from Mirae Hospital because the doctors think of their medical career other than the patient’s life.

The president wants Director Lee to take Hye-sung to his position to build a better hospital.

Hye-sung and Ddol-mi go outside to observe the bright and colorful sky today. Suddenly, the ground and everything start shaking and cracking. The buildings start to fall. Hye-sung immediately grabs Ddol-mi before the earthquake destroys everything.
