The "Witch's Court" official couple get their happy ending and Jun Kwang-ryul pays his due.
On the final episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Witch's Court", Jo Gap-soo (Jun Kwang-ryul) was sentenced to death in prison.
Jo Gap-soo tried to make a deal with Ma Yi-deum (Jung Ryeo-won) by kidnapping her mother Gwak Yeong-sil (Lee Il-hwa). He managed to get his dirty note from Ma Yi-deum, but he was devastated that no man of authority would help him now.
Yeong-sil was saved by Yeo Jin-wook (Yoon Hyun-min) and Jo Gap-soo tried to kill himself, but Jin-wook and Yi-deum stopped him. They wanted him to pay the price for what he did.
In the end, Jo Gap-soo was sentenced to death. He didn't appear remorseful during trial and claimed himself innocent. He was sent away to prison and he lived pathetically picking up food from the floor.
Yi-deum became a judge and rekindled her relationship with her mother who had regained her memory.
