"Mother - Drama" episode 3 recap

On the latest episode of the tvN drama "Mother - Drama", Soo-jin (Lee Bo-young) and Hye-na (Heo Yool-I) ran away to the orphanage in Choonchun where Soo-jin lived before since they couldn't go abroad.Even though the orphanage was closed, they snuck in. Clara, the teacher who raised Soo-jin, was there.
Clara had Alzheimer's and she'd run away from the sanatorium to come back home. Soo-jin and Hye-na stayed at the orphanage and took care of Clara.
Hye-na saw her Mother - Drama, Ja-young (Ko Sung-hee) on TV. She was pretending to be having a hard time looking for her 'missing daughter'. Soo-jin told her Hye-na, "Let me know if you want to go back to your Mother - Drama. It's alright".
She explained, "When I was six, I was tied to a tree and I was covered in scars. I still missed my Mother - Drama". Hye-na said, "I wanted to know if my Mother - Drama would be sad if I died, but I don't think she is. She wants me dead".
Soo-jin asked God, "Will I be able to protect that child. I don't have a Mother - Drama, so how can I be one myself?" Clara comforted her.
Clara was taken back to the sanatorium by her niece. She said, "Soo-jin thank you for being a Mother - Drama. I'm glad I got a chance to hold your daughter in my arms".
Soo-jin ended up asking foster mom, Young-in (Lee Hye-young-I), to be with Hye-na.
