"Man Who Lays the Table" episode 50 final recap

The final episode of the MBC drama "Man Who Lays the Table" reunited Yang Chun-ok (Kim Soo-mi) and Kevin Miller (Lee Jae-ryong).
Yang Chun-ok ran into Park Min-ho (Hong Seo-joon) on her way out from promising to invest in Kevin. Yang Chun-ok heard from Jung Tae-yang (On Joo-wan) that Park Min-ho worked for Kevin for a long time and realized that Kevin was the Eun-jo she was looking for. She checked Kevin's picture with Jung Tae-yang and ran to Kevin.
She cried and asked, "It's me, do you remember? Your mother died after having you and I raised you in your house". Kevin asked, "Sister Ok?" and he remembered her. Chun-ok apologized for abandoning him.
Kevin said, "I wanted to show you how well-off I am. I wanted to be rich enough to help her if she needed it so how can I resent you? The thought of you is the only thing that had me hanging on during cold and lonely times. I missed you so much". He hugged her and Chun-ok cried too. Lee Roo-ri (Choi Soo-young) prepared to quit her job for the sake of Jung Tae-yang and the company. Jung Tae-yang pretended to let her go, but Lee Roo-ri was upset that he'd changed so quickly. He told her some good news and they hugged each other.
Joo Ae-ri (Han Ga-rim) called them to say she'd tell them everything. She said, "It was I who planned and made everything come true. I will get the punishment so forgive my mother". Susana (Choi Soo-rin) and Park Min-ho's son appeared and Jung Tae-yang told Susana that he knew everything.
Susana said she'd disappear for a while and Park Min-ho was surprised as Ae-ri would be taking the blame for everything. Susana said, "It's only 6 years. Why don't you take her place if you're so concerned?" In the end, Joo Ae-ri decided to help Kevin and Park Min-ho was furious with Susana too. He put her in a truck and sped away.
Jung Soo-mi (Lee Kyu-jung) who spent a day with Han-gyeol (Kim Ha-na), changed her mind and wanted to raise her. However, Han-gyeol cried that she wanted to go home and in the end Jung Soo-mi brought her home. She thanked Han Yeon-joo (Seo Hyo-rim) and said she'd never see Han-gyeol again. Hong Young-hye (Kim Mi-Sook) left Se-joon (Park Sung-geun) behind and returned to Korea and met Lee Sin-mo (Kim Kap-soo) again.
6 months later, Yang Chun-ok took her family to Kevin's father's grave and SC Foods cleared its name. Lee Roo-ri and Jung Tae-yang got married.

"Shall We Live Together" episode 2 recap

On the latest episode of the new KBS 2TV drama "Shall We Live Together", Park Yoo-ha (Han Ji-hye) asked Chae Sung-woon (Hwang Dong-joo) for a divorce, but he objected.
Park Yoo-ha cried because he was trying to send Eun-soo away and Chae Sung-woon refused to divorce because he went against his whole family to marry her.
Park Yoo-ha argued that she had to sacrifice many things to marry him; her father even wrote a memorandum to his family. She said she wouldn't have married him if she knew this was going to happen.
Chae Sung-woon claimed they had done well and that his family accepted her, but Park Yoo-ha claimed she had dealt with his family by abandoning her family and that was all because of their child Eun-soo. However, he wanted to send her abroad for her education.
Chae Sung-woon said, "I won't divorce you and there will be no such failure in my life. I'm sending Eun-soo away, too. So you have to give it up".
Park Yoo-ha found her father's shoe wrappings at home. Her father (Yoo Dong-geun) had given Eun-soo a pair of shoes as a present, but Cha Sung-hoon had told her to throw it away without Park Yoo-ha knowing. She cried in sadness.
Yoo-ha called Chae Hee-kyung, Chae Sung-woon's sister and told her she won't send Eun-soo away. Chae Hee-kyung said, "Then get divorced. That was the condition when you married into our family; if you're not going to agree with us then get divorced. I'll send over the papers".
Yoo-ha packed her things and took her daughter to her parents' house. She told her father she was getting a divorce and he was furious.
Yoo-ha went to the hospital to meet someone and was aware of the foot she hurt. Eun-tae treated her foot that day.
Jae-hyung (Yeo Hoe-hyun) was at a job interview when he got into a fight with Mi-yeon's (Jang Mi-hee) son Moon-sik (Kim Kwon). Moon-sik trampled on Jae-hyung's papers and said, "I'm the one that dropped you. Get on your knees and beg if you want to work here". Jae-hyung thought about it for a minute but stepped on Moon-sik's foot instead and said, "I don't want to work here if your word is all it takes to get a job around here".
Mr. Kim's wife came to see Mi-yeon and caused a scene. Mi-yeon asked Mr. Kim (Lee Han-wi) that she'd give him 60% of the right to her possessions and when he seemed to consider this, his wife went ballistic.
Mi-yeon watched a street with small shops and told her son she was going to buy them in and destroy them, showing her anger within. Park Hyo-seop (Yoo Dong-geun) spotted her and went after her but didn't meet her.
Park Sun-ha (Park Sun-young) was asked to marry Cha Kyung-soo (Kang Sung-wook), a man 6 years younger than her who she also worked with. She accepted the proposal and they hugged each other.

"Mystery Queen Season 2" Episode 2 recap

It is time for us to meet the cheesy arsonist seen in the highlight reel, as he is the first culprit Seol-ok gets to practice her newfound authority through. Life is not easy or glamorous for her and Wan-seung, and there are more enemies and rivals around than there are currently allies. Friends from the past are cold, while new faces enter the game, some friendly and some overly so. Then again, you do not get proposed to by drunk strangers every day.
Our fancy pastry chef, Jeong Hee-yeon (Lee Da-hee) is clearly the one who received Wan-seung's (Kwon Sang-woo) ring, and episode two introduces her as a suspicious and overly keen on the investigation character. We already know that she is a lead, which means that there is no grand conspiracy behind her at this time, but making her a suspect who will turn into a partner serves the current subplot, as well as the hints of jealousy for our now OTP.
Hee-yeon and Moon-giInspector Woo and Seol-ok solving a fire incident
Our new characters are not very beneficial to Wan-seung and Seol-ok (Choi Kang-hee) either. I cannot really blame those who dislike Wan-seung; the lawsuits and damages he has brought to the force alone would make him infamous anywhere. What I enjoy about Seol-ok's own struggles is that the series does not sugar-coat her lacking aspects or dismiss them for convenience. She may be a genius, but she is not fit for any and every type of police work, and that is fine.
I still feel a bit overwhelmed by the show's editing and overbearing background music, but things are starting to calm down a bit as we get into the nitty gritty of cases. We know that everyone will have to play along at some point, so I look forward to how characters like Gye Seong-woo (Oh Min-suk) and Jo  In-ho (Kim Won-hae) will be incorporated into the team. As much as it feels like life has naturally moved on, everyone is clearly familiar with one another, so I want to see more of how those connections came to be.
In-ho and Seong-wooOne of the arsonists
Most of all, I enjoy all the flavor that we can see in characters. From In-ho's clingy artist antics to Hee-yeon's passion for sugary decadence, it feels like we are meeting some fun personalities to fill the world of "Mystery Queen Season 2". Seong-woo is a killjoy at the moment, but I suppose some competition will only make our heroes' victories more satisfying. We also need obstacles along the way to solving Hyun-soo's (Hong Soo-hyun) mysterious existence.
Speaking of which, I do feel a bit confused about certain things regarding that so far. "Mystery Queen"barely explained anything regarding the case and the ones involved, so it feels a bit like going into a race track without a car. Everything is happening too fast for proper absorption, which is a problem in an already convoluted case. I'm really liking the drama so far, but I an eager to see it going through all of its introduced and re-introduced elements.

Young-sin (Lee Hye-young-I) got a hold of Soo-jin through Jin-hong (Lee Jae-yoon). Soo-jin freaked out when Ja-young said she held Hye-na (Heo Yool-I) for hostage for 500 million won. Young-sin wanted to pay her the money, but Soo-jin guessed that wasn't all that she wanted.

Ja-young was indeed rough to Soo-jin. Soo-jin tried to comfort her saying, "This is the hardest on Hye-na's mother I know".
